Traveling from out of Town?

St Leonards on Sea in East Sussex is nestled between Hastings and Bexhill on Sea. Strictly speaking, it’s a part of Hastings, but St Leonards has its own special vibe and offers a great place to visit from where you can explore the whole area. Discover our beaches, pier, galleries as well as the many brilliant independent shops, pubs, restaurants and cafes. Plus, it’s super ‘dog-friendly’ and inclusive, so bring your furry friends!

Here’s how to find us.

By Rail

Southern and Southeastern trains run from Charing Cross, London Bridge or Victoria to St Leonards Warrior Square. Trains depart regularly with a journey time of around 1.5 hours from Charing Cross.

Additionally, there is a high-speed service from St Pancras International, requiring one change at Ashford International, offering a convenient travel option for passengers.

From Gatwick you can catch the Gatwick Express and from Brighton it’s also a direct train.

By Road

We encourage visitors use public transport whenever possible. However, for those who must travel by car, if you are coming from London and the North, you can take the A21 from the M25 to reach St Leonards. Another option is to take the M20 from London towards Ashford, then follow the A2070 and A259. From Brighton and the West, you can simply take the A27 and A259, which will lead you straight to Hastings and St Leonards.
